Actor Will Smith will soon be heading for Costa Rica to shoot his latest film “After Earth”.
The “I Am Legend” star and son Jaden, are scheduled to begin shooting on February 6th, though locations for the filming have not yet been released.
“After Earth” is the story of a father (Smith) and son (real life son Jaden) who crash land on planet Earth 1,000 years after it is abandoned.
The movie will be directed by M. Night Shyamalan (“The Sixth Sense,” “Signs”).
Screenwriter Gary Whitta (writer of “The Book of Eli”) took to Twitter Monday saying, “This week the AFTER EARTH cast & crew moves to Costa Rica to begin filming!”
Shyamalan was also tweeting on Monday, saying, “Crew leaving for Costa Rica already. A year and half of writing and prep is coming to an end. #AfterEarth …”
