Tequila Gran Dovejo Awarded Best in Class for ‘2013 Spirits of the Americas”

The Gran Dovejo tequila has been awarded two ‘Best in Class’ recognitions at the 2013 Spirits of Americas Awards. The distillers third tequila type Gran Dovejo Añejo was also recognized taking home a Gold Medal in its respective category.

The competition seeks to identify strong regional spirits in the Americas.  Gran Dovejo won Best in Class in the Blanco and Reposado Tequila categories after a blind tasting competition.

The Mexican tequila maker which produces tequila in small batches is produced by Master Distiller Leopoldo Solis Tinoco with blue agave grown in Jalisco, Mexico.  The distillery is owned by the Vivanco family which has been producing tequila for over five generations.
