Photo: Latinos Nominated to 2011 Tony Awards
Meet the Latinos whose outstanding work on Broadway earned them a nomination for the most prestigious award in Theatre.
The list was revealed early Tuesday and unlike last year, didn’t include but a handful of Hollywood talent.
Robert López received two nominations for his work on “The Book of Mormon,” a musical cowritten with South Park masterminds Trey Parker and Matt Stone. The show has been nominated for “Best Book of a Musical” and “Best Original Score Written for the Theater.”
Cuban Actors Bobby Cannavale and Yul Vázquez were nominated for their acting efforts in “The Motherf**ker With a Hat,” along with actress Elizabeth Rodríguez.
