The Colorado Lottery Commission has announced that scratch off tickets will soon be printed with instructions in both English and Spanish.
“Research shows that many Spanish-language speakers buy scratch tickets,” said Lottery Director Abel Tapia on Wednesday. “The new tickets will feature Spanish language instructions that can be viewed by scratching off the English instructions to reveal the Spanish instructions.”
At first look, the scratch offs will appear to be only in English, but underneath the English instructions with be the Spanish, which can be seen by “scratching through the English wording.”
