Mexican singer-songwriter Marco Antonio Solís, “El Buki”, is about to release “Tres Semanas” (Three Weeks), the first single of his new disc that will go on sale in the coming months, his record label said Thursday.
The song will have an international radio launch on Monday and the next day it will be available for purchase online.
“Tres Semanas” will be the first single of his new album “Gracias Por Estar Aqui” (Thanks for Being Here), which will go on sale in the coming months.
“It’s a song written and produced by Solis himself, which maintains the personal stamp that characterizes his productions and signifies a rediscovery of his most personal, most creative essence, marking the start of the next stage in the singer’s career,” the Universal record label said in a communique.
Marco Antonio Solis, 53, is putting the finishing touches on his new album, with which he “promises to surprise his public with a spectacular repertoire in his purest style,” the record company said.
With a career spanning more than 35 years and sales of over 20 million discs, “El Buki” is one of the most successful Latin artists in the world and, among other honors, has won three Latin Grammys and has a star on Hollywood’s Walk of Fame.
