Spanish authorities are reporting a gruesome and apparently random crime on the Spanish island of Tenerife in the Canary Islands.
A homeless man known to authorities to have psychiatric issues, entered the local grocery in the Vales Shopping Centre, where he proceeded to steal a knife that he used to behead a local female shopper.
Deyan Valentinov, as some reports have identified him, was chased and eventually restrained. He was found carrying the unidentified victims head. The victim is thought to be a British citizen in her 60’s.
