This month’s issue of the U.K.-based Decanter magazine focused on the growing wine culture in Chile. They refer to Chile as a “grape growing and wine producing paradise” due its geographical diversity.
According to the magazine’s top oenologist, the 15 most prestigious vineyards in Chile include Altair, Errázuriz, Concha y Toro, Cono Sur and San Pedro, as well as lesser-known vineyards like Aristos, Calyptra, Polkura, Falernia and O. Fournier.
Rapidly growing demand for wines produced in Chile of more than 10% annually has been seen in many European countries as well as China and Japan.
