American actress Naya Rivera, of Puerto Rican descent and one of the most famous faces on the hit TV series “Glee,” will marry rapper Big Sean, the online edition of People magazine reported.
Rivera, 26, and Sean, 25, in a relationship for six months, appeared together in Hollywood Thursday night at a party hosted by Latina magazine, where the actress showed off her big engagement ring.
Rivera’s rep confirmed the news to the publication.
The couple recently revealed that they met on Twitter and that their romance began with a couple of private tweets.
“I had followed him, and he sent me a little message like, ‘I’m a fan,’” the actress told Access Hollywood in September. “We went to dinner and the rest is history.”
Rivera and Sean were first seen together last April at the presentation of the movie “42,” also in Hollywood.
“Every morning I wake up, I look over at her and be like, ‘I’m winning so hard,’” the rapper told the E! News portal.
Rivera is known for her role as Santana Lopez, a mean high school cheerleader in the Fox musical series “Glee” with its youthful audience appeal.
The Fox network debuted the fifth season of “Glee” in late September.
