The first Spanish language ad for the Democratic National Party’s (DNC) bid to reelect President Obama has been launched with the title: “En Quien Confiar”. (The One to Trust).

The DNC’s sponsored ad will first run in seven latino-centric markets that are also considered swing states:  Albuquerque, Denver, Las Vegas, Miami, Orlando, Tampa and Washington D.C.

The ads translates as follows: “Behind the ads that pretend to care about our children, it’s the Republicans who would end the Medicare guarantee while protecting tax cuts for the very rich. It was the president who extended health insurance for our children, financial aid for students and tax cuts for the middle class.” The kicker: “We know who to trust, and who we can’t. Because it’s our job to protect our families.”

The President clearly stayed away from the contentious issue of immigration reform and the struggling economy preferring to focus on what he has done for the Latino community.
