In another incredible ‘Extreme Trafficking’ incident a car chase led to a large drug seizure with the alleged narco-trafficker swimming to Mexico.

Texas authorities in Rio Grande City are reporting a routine traffic stop that started Tuesday evening evolved into a car chase that ended at the banks of the Rio Grande River.  Apparently the driver of a 2006 Nissan Murano did not yield to police commands to stop and lead them on a chase.

The unidentified driver drove to the Rio Grande and before authorities could nab him he jumped into the Rio Grande and swam to the other side of the river which is Mexican territory.

Rio Grande City police then found over 800 pounds of marijuana inside the car bundled into 37 packages.
