Eva Longoria’s onscreen hubby in ‘Desperate Housewives’ is being held on $25k bond after refusing to take a blood/alcohol test.
The performer, who is the son of Texas justice Juan Antonio Chavira, was stopped at a routine Los Angeles checkpoint at around 2am. An officer smelled alcohol on his breath, and asked the actor to perform a sobriety test.
Unsatisfied with the test results, the officer asked Chavira to perform a breath/blood alcohol test, which the actor refused.
Chavira is one of the longest running characters in the ABC show, he’s been on the show since episode one.
