Starbucks Coming to Coffee Bean Capital, Costa Rica
Starbucks continues to expand in Central America, in keeping with its plans announced in August of 2010, with an announcement that it will open its first Costa Rican location.
This will be the seventh location in the region with establishments already ensconced in El Salvador and Guatemala. The expansion to Costa Rica is a natural fit since many of the coffee beans Starbucks uses for its brew are purchased from this country.
The new Starbuck’s will be located in the capital city of San Jose. The company has over 6,000 international locations and close to 11,000 locations in the U.S.
