NARCO BLOG: Neza Shootout Kills One, Injures Another

A shootout occurred near Penon-Texcoco highway in Nezahualcoyotl.

The altercation took place between men in a black Chevrolet Suburban and gunmen on motorcycles. 

Arturo Martinez Granadoz, the 28-year-old passenger of the van, was killed while trying to exit the van.

Crisitian Martinez Granados, the 19 year-old driver of the Suburban, was shot several times during the shootout and needed medical attention.  At this time his condition is listed as grave. 

Those responsible have not been captured.
