Narco Blog: Two-Found Tortured and Executed in Edomex in Rival Cartel War (Picture Warning)

A double execution tinged of revenge between two drug cartels. Two men were kidnapped, tortured, driven to a dirt road in the Colonia El Agostadero and finally shot in the head. In addition one of them was bound hand and foot. Nuestra Familia Gang Member “Wino” Sentenced to 21 Years in Prison in Drug Trafficking Prosecution

Juan Gallegos, also known as “Wino,” 36, of Salinas, was sentenced today to 21 years and 10 months in prison by United States District Judge William B. Shubb, United States Attorney Benjamin B. Wagner announced. On April 9, 2012, Gallegos pleaded guilty to conspiring to traffic methamphetamine, cocaine, and marijuana, and four other drug trafficking felonies. Two men were missing from the town of Tierra Colorada, they were later found executed on the banks of the federal highway to the village of Xaltianguis. One of those executed was tied by the hands and had a bullet in the head; he was identified as Mario Nava Romero, 36 years old.
