Mexican Paloma Cocktail Recipe
Mexican Independence Day is not Cinco de Mayo as some believe, but a true celebration of Mexican heritage that reaches here in the United States, this year falling on Sunday, September 16th.
As popular as the margarita is in America (#1 cocktail in the U.S.), Mexico has different favorites such as the Paloma cocktail.
Mexican Paloma
Ingredients
1.5 oz. Cuervo Tradicional Reposado (25 oz. per bottle)
3 oz. grapefruit soda
1 teaspoon(s) salt
1 slice(s) lime(s)
Preparation
- 1. Rub rim of a tall glass with half a lime and dip into salt. Fill halfway with ice
- 2. Add Cuervo Tradicional and grapefruit soda. Stir well. Garnish with lime slice
