It only happens a few times of year when over 100,000 fish get together in the beautiful Sea of Cortez in Mexico to mate. Lovingly known as the “tuna tornado” but also known as an underwater sex party it helps keep the Jack Tuna species vibrant. Each fish average three feet in length and while swirling like mad they release a massive volume of eggs and sperm. And surprise baby fish tuna arrive in a couple of days.
