The good news for humanitarian and MacArthur Genius Lin Manuel Miranda just keeps getting better. He announced via Twitter, after some prompting, that he and his wife Vanessa are expecting their second child.
The 37-year-old creator of ‘Hamilton’ is father to three-year-old Sebastian and has been married since 2010 to the very accomplished Vanessa Nadal.
Nadal attended the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and obtained a degree in chemical engineering, followed with a law degree from Fordham University School of Law. The couple attended the same high school but did not start dating until after college, when they reconnected.
The couple was attending the London premiere of Miranda’s hit play ‘Hamilton’ when the pending birth announcement was made by the proud Papi.
The Hamilton Touring company has been bringing ‘Hamilton’ to eager fans outside of Broadway while the original company remains on Broadway. Miranda himself left his starring role as Hamilton on July 9, 2016 to pursue other projects.
Fans were thrilled to recently hear that Miranda will reprise the starring role to help his beloved Puerto Rico. He is bringing the award winning play to Teatro UP at the University of Puerto Rico in early 2019.
