Check out this heartbreaking video a 13-year took of her father, Romulo Avelica-Gonzalez being arrested by Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents (ICE) as she was being dropped off to school by her parents.
The family believes that the father was being stalked since the family left their house to do routine school drop offs in Highland Park, California. The 48-year-old father of four has been in the U.S. as an undocumented immigrant for more than 25-years and has 4 U.S. born children.
ICE is following through on its plan to arrest anyone that has any a criminal record. In Avelica case, it was for a 2009 DUI and an “outstanding order of removal dating back to 2014.” Out the door goes the statement that only violent offenders are being targeted.
No shock that the arrest was near an elementary school since other arrests have been near churches, hospitals and court rooms. What’s next inside the john?
