Today is the Day to Clean Out Medicine Cabinets in Chicago
The State of Illinois is offering safe disposal for all of your outdated medicines. The State of Illinois’ police and sheriff departments along with the U.S. Drug Enforcement (DEA) are coordinating a program to help people collect and get rid of expired and unneeded medicines. The National Take Back Day allows people to bring unwanted prescription drugs to selected locations from 10 am to 2 pm where they will be destroyed safely. Please note the service is free and anonymous. To find a location near you visit the DEA’s website.
