Three Humboldt Park Shooting Occur Over Weekend
In two separate incidents in Humboldt Park, three males were the victim of gun shot wounds. The first incident occurred on Saturday evening at the 4400 block of West Walton Street. The two male victims, one was 14 and the other 30 were shot will standing on the sidewalk at approximately 11:50 p.m.
The second incident occurred Sunday early morning at the 1200 block of Avers Avenue. In this incident the male victim was in a car with three female passengers when an assailant described as African-American ran at the car and fired multiple shots at the victim.
As of Sunday morning no individuals were in custody and Harrison Area detectives were investigating.
