REAL ESTATE: Siegle Inc. Seeks to Build at 977 W. Cermak Road
Siegle Inc is going before the City of Chicago’s Planning Commission to obtain a zoning change at property they own at 977 West Cermak Road in the Pilsen neighborhood. The site was the former home of a Siegle Lumber facility. The lumber business was purchased by Stock Building but the property remains under the ownership of the Siegle Family operating as Siegle Inc.
The family is seeking to build two buildings on the 150,000 square foot lot that would house warehouses and other industrial tenants. Siegle Inc. recently sold 15 nearby acres to Blue Cross & Blue Shield and DHL.
