Memorial and Funeral Services for Former First Lady, Maggie Daley

The former Mayor Richard Daley and his family have announced plans for a public memorial and funeral for the former first Lady of Chicago, Maggie Daley. There will be a public wake today, Sunday from noon to 10 p.m., at the Chicago Cultural Center, Preston Bradley Hall, 77. E. Randolph St.
This will be followed by a public Funeral Mass: Monday, 10:30 a.m., at Old St. Patrick’s Church, 700 W. Adams St.
In addition to the public memorials flags throughout the City have been lowered to half staff and memorial bunting has been placed at the entrance to City Hall.
The beloved former first Lady passed away at age 68 with her husband of nearly 40 years and her family at her side at home. She had been bravely battling metastatic breast cancer since 2002.
