Man Fatally Shot in Little Village
Sunday afternoon, police say a 32-year-old man was fatally shot in Chicago’s Little Village neighborhood.
According to police, at around 1:30 p.m., Alberto Quinto was walking along the 4200 block of West 26th Street when an unidentified gunman shot him in the back and chest.
Quinto was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital, and the Cook County medical examiner’s office said he was pronounced dead at 2:04 p.m.
The victim’s residence was not known at the time of the report, and police have yet to make an arrest, and the motive is not known.
