(Logan Square) Ald. Maldonado Pushing for Latin-American Food and Entertainment District
Chicago Alderman Roberto Maldonado says he is pushing to give Chicago its first Latin-American food and entertainment district.
It would be along a stretch of West Armitage Avenue on Chicago’s northwest side in the Logan Square neighborhood.
“It will become a magnet for those who love to eat Latin-American food. Instead of having to think about ‘oh I want to eat Ecuadorian food, I need to go all the way to Pulaski,’ people will be able to find it on Armitage,” said Maldonado.
