Humboldt Park Fieldhouse Receives Funds to Upgrade Facility
This week Governor Pat Quinn announced that several community fieldhouses will be upgraded thanks to support from the Illinois Jobs Now! Capital construction program.
The Humboldt Park Fieldhouse was one of the luck facilities chosen. The fieldhouse will receive $1,504,500 to rehabilitate the exterior and interior and upgrade existing structures.
The funds coming to Humboldt Park are the second highest after the South Shore Cultural Center that is receiving $2,498,300.
