CRIME: Man, 25, Shot in East Pilsen
Monday morning, a 25-year-old man was injured in a shooting on Chicago’s East Pilsen neighborhood.
Initial reports say that around 12:20 a.m., on the 2100 block of South Lumber Street, a suspect, estimated to be in his 20’s, shot the victim then proceeded to flee north in a light colored vehicle.
Police say the victim suffered a gunshot wound to the leg, and was taken to Stroger Hospital in critical condition.
Harrison Area detectives are still investigating, but as of 6 a.m., no one was in custody.
