Juan Romero of the Humboldt Park neighborhood, residing at 1500 N. Oakley Avenue, has been sentenced for shooting at police in 2008. 20-year old Romero was in the Logan Square neighborhood the evening of December 4, 2008 when he shot at a police officer injuring him in the shoulder.
He was convicted of this crime in July and was sentenced yesterday to 42 years in prison but had faced an 80 year sentence.
