UPDATE: Brighton Park: Teen Boy is Shot
UPDATE: Wentworth Area Detectives confirm that charges and an arrest have been made in the murder of Frankie Zamudio. Alberto Mangual is in custody and charged with the murder.
Original: A teen boy was shot in the back and seriously wounded Sunday night in the Brighton Park neighborhood on the 4600 block of South California Avenue about 9:24 p.m. Frankie Zamudio, 18, was pronounced dead at Mt. Sinai Hospital at 9:50 p.m. No one is in custody and Wentworth Area detectives are investigating.
