Community Alert: Attempted Kidnapping/Luring of Child
This alert gives notice to the residents of Beat 823 (8th District –Chicago Lawn) of an unknown Male Hispanic offender who attempted to abduct an 11-year-old female victim.
About the Crime:
This incident occurred on February 9, 2012 at approximately 3:00 PM in the 6000 Block of South Lawndale Ave, where the offender approached the victim on foot and grabbed her by the arm. The victim was able to run away and report the incident to her parents.
About the Offender:
· Male White Hispanic
· 40-50Years of Age, 5’8”, 170 lbs
· White or grayish hair
· Wearing a long dark raincoat
· Spoke Spanish to the victim
