Car Crash Resulting from Police Chase Injures 2 Adults, 1 Child
Monday evening, three people were injured in a car crash after a car being chased by police collided with another vehicle in Chicago’s Humboldt Park neighborhood.
A Chicago Police spokesman said a car fleeing police struck another vehicle at around 4 p.m. on the 4700 block of West Grand Ave.
A child and it’s father had to be removed by the Fire Dept., as they were pinned in the car that was struck by the fleeing vehicle. The child was taken to Children’s Memorial Hospital, while the father was take to Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center with non-life threatening injuries, Fire Media Affairs Director Larry Langford said.
The man who was being chased by police officers was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in good condition.
