Argument Escalates to Shooting on West Side
After an argument on the West Side’s Humboldt Park neighborhood a 34-year-old man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital said a Police News Affairs Officer.
The man was shot around 3:15 p.m. Tuesday on the 3200 block of West Thomas Street.
Initial reports said the man was standing outside having an argument with another person, when the person he was arguing with pulled out a gun and shot the victim several time.
The wounded man was taken to Mount Sinai Hospital in critical condition.
As of Wednesday morning, the police had no one in custody, and were still investigating.
