8th Annual Pilsen Open Studios
The artist run, art and walk dubbed Pilsen Open Studios is kicking off on October 16th through the 17th and its bigger and better than ever. There will be over 55 spaces and over 80 artists showing there work from Western Avenue to Halsted. Pilsen Open Studios is being held in conjunction with Chicago Artist Month and celebrates Pilsen’s many artists, galleries and cultural cafes. This year a highlight will be the art of local Little Village/La Villita artists and the community workshop for Day of the Dead.
This year’s artists include: Salvador Jimenez, Alejandro Medina, Angel Silva, Diana Solis, Jeff Abbey Maldonado, Guillermo Delgado, Rhamaan Barnes, Patricia Peixoto, Gerry Lang, Roberto Ferreyra, Mark Nelson, Hector Duarte, Omar Valencia, John Pitman Weber, Pablo Serrano, Angela Scalisi, and many more.
