Colombian Super-star Juanes to Give First Spanish Lanuage Performance at Macy’s Holiday Parade
On Thursday, November 25, 2010 America’s favorite holiday spectacular, the 84th Annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, will step off to kick off the holiday season. The parade entertains more than 3.5 million spectators lining the streets of New York and more than 50 million television viewers with its signature giant helium balloons, floats, marching bands, clowns, celebrity and musical groups, and the one-and-only Santa Claus. This year however, there will be something no one has ever seen before at the parade – a Spanish language performance.
Colombian super-star Juanes will give the first-ever Spanish language performance during the parade. He will join other musical superstars like Kanye West, India Arie and many others. The performance is meant to coincide with the singer’s newest album P.A.R.C.E. (pals).
