It would appear that some on Twitter have not read one rather important rule:

You may not publish or post direct, specific threats of violence against others.

Upon hearing that George Zimmerman, 28, the man who claims he shot 17-year-old Trayvon Martin in self-defense, was out on bail, a number of tweeters took to Twitter to share their anger. However, there were a few who used the social media site to share their dislike of the “Mexican” known as Zimmerman.

Though Zimmerman was arrested, it took weeks to happen. Monday, after harsh criticism, it was announced that Sanford Police Chief Bill Lee Jr. was expected to resign. In March, Chief Lee temporarily stepped aside while his department handled the fatal shooting. Should his resignation be approved by city commissioners in Sanford, Lee’s resignation would become effective at midnight Monday.
