Photo: Whoa! Check Out this Truck-Swallowing Sinkhole in Panama
Thanks to Telemetro we can see just how big sinkholes can get.
The one shown below opened up on Wednesday in the parking lot of a Metro pharmacy in Panama City’s Condado del Rey neighborhood and swallowed a large truck from the Autoridad de Aeso.
Despite the size of this sinkhole however, it is rather small relative to the massive one that swallowed an entire building in Guatemala City, near the Mexico-Guatemala border in 2010. That sinkhole measured 66 feet (20 meters) across and nearly 100 feet (30 meters) deep.
