Take a look at which Latin American nations have the largest gap between the richest of the rich, and the poorest of the poor.

Argentina is the Latin American nation with the most income equality, while Colombia’s inequality made it the Latin American nation with the widest gap between their rich, and the poor.

The Gini index is calculated based on the range of cumulative family income, plotted against the number of families arranged from the poorest to the richest. Zero stands for perfect equality and 100 stands for complete inequality.

Latin America follows Africa very closely in the list of the most unequal regions.
