A group called Cog*nate Collective is using the question asked at the San Diego-Tijuana border,“What are you bringing from Mexico?” and turning it into an art exhibit.

ImageArtists from both sides of the border will take part in “What are you bringing from Mexico?/Que traes de Mexico?” this weekend in hopes of reestablishing the Mercado de Artesanias de la Linea as a place for cultural exchange and dialogue.

The event will be held from 2 to 8 p.m. on Friday and Noon to 8 p.m. on Saturday. It will take place at the Mercado in Tijuana, and admission is free. The exhibit will feature art, music, and – of course – food.
