Despite running tests, and analyzing the Libertador’s remains for over a year, what killed Simón Bolívar remains a mystery.
Venezuelan government said on Monday that experts have not been able to identify the cause of death of Latin América’s independence hero, Simón Bolívar.
Vice President Elías Jaua said that the neither the publicly accepted version of death by tuberculosis nor Chávez’s conspiracy theory of murder have been able to be proved or disproved at this time.
Jaua said experts will continue to work trying to identify the causes of death adding that in his opinion, doubts remain about the causes of The Liberator’s death.
