Alejandrina Guzmán Salazar, alleged daughter of Joaquin “El Chapo” Guzman, was released by the U.S. government on charges of possession of false documents, reports her lawyer Guadalupe Valencia.
The daughter of Chapo, accompanied by her lawyers and Jan E Guadalupe Valencia Ronis, heard her sentence: “time served”, i.e. the almost three months that turned the arrest were sufficient to serve his sentence.
“Already released, was facing two years as we all know, but we were able to negotiate a deal, we come to this negotiation and we obtained her freedom,” the defense said.
Authorities consulted reported that Alejandrina Guzmán Salazar would be deported by immigration authorities at the border in Tijuana, Baja California.
Giselle Alejandrina Guzman Salazar is 31 years old and already almost nine months pregnant.
