UPDATE: “Two and a Half Men” Star, Charlie Sheen Enters Rehab

UPDATE: Charlie Sheen has reportedly voluntarily checked himself into a undisclosed rehab center.

Sheen’s publicist Stan Rosenfield released a statement about the actor’s decision to seek help.

“Charlie Sheen has voluntarily entered an undisclosed rehabilitation center today. He is most grateful to all who have expressed their concern.”

CBS also released a statement regarding Sheen’s decision to enter rehab.

“Due to Charlie Sheen’s decision to enter a rehabilitation center, CBS, Warner Bros. Television and executive producer Chuck Lorre are placing “Two and a Half Men” on production hiatus.

We are profoundly concerned for his health and well-being, and support his decision.”

Original:Charlie Sheen (born Carlos Irwin Estevez) was rushed to the hospital today, reportedly suffering from severe abdominal pain.

TMZ has reported that the “Two and a Half Men” star was taken out of his home on a stretcher around 7 a.m. Thursday morning, and taken in an ambulance to Cedars Sinai Hospital in Beverly Hills.

TMZ also reported that a 911 call had been placed from Sheen’s home at 6:35 a.m.

Two women were said to have left just minutes after Charlie. One of the people believed to have hung out with Sheen just before the incident is adult film star Kasey Jordan, 22.

This is the third hospitalization for Sheen, 45, in as many months.
