Tuesday is Primary Day in Arizona, Alaska and Florida…Let the Wild Rumpus Begin!

Arizona’s Republican Senate Primary has John McCain as the clear front-runner against J.D. Hayworth. Incumbent McCain spent $20 Million dollars in his fight against the tea party–backed opponent.

Arizona Republicans are also holding primaries for candidates to challenge incumbent Democratic Reps. Gabrielle Giffords, Ann Kirkpatrick and Harry Mitchell. And the open House seat being vacated by retiring Republican Rep. John Shadegg attracted 10 GOP hopefuls, including Ben Quayle, son of former Vice President Dan Quayle.

Florida’s primary has seen Former Health Care executive Rick Scott spend almost $39 million of his own money in a primary battle for the Republican Gubernatorial spot.  Alex Sink is expected to the Democratic Gubernatorial Candidate.

The Florida Democratic Senate Primary shows 28% still undecided between Meek and billionaire Greene. The winner there will face Republican Marco Rubio and Independent Gov Charlie Crist in November.

Alaska has former Gov Sarah Palin stomping hard for Republican Joe Miller. The Republican Senatorial Candidate also has the backing of “Tea Party Express” who has aided the candidate with promotional advertising and rallies.

Vermont and Oklahoma also will be holding primaries on Tuesday.
