Every year, Master Card reveals the top tourist destination cities in its “MasterCard: Global Destination Cities Index.”

The international city that saw the greatest amount of visitors was Bangkok, Thailand with an estimated 15.98 million visitors in 2013.

London, England came in second (15.96 million visitors) and Paris came in third (13.92 million visitors).

Mexico City is the top ranked destination city in Latin America, with 3.1 million international visitor arrivals estimated for 2013.

The lineup of top 10 in Latin America in 2013 is unchanged from 2012.
