The owner of a New Mexico restaurant had an interesting weekend after police arrested a group of men who had been stealing toilet paper from the restaurant bathroom.

The Albuquerque Burgers, Dog and Wings was robbed of about 12 rolls of toilet paper when three men entered the establishment bathroom and ran to a nearby car.

The thieves didn’t get far however, as the men were stopped by officers from the Albuquerque Police Dept.

The men had apparently been under surveillance by the police, especially Christopher Padilla, who was recently arrested in connection with an attempted murder case.

Restaurant employee Josh Flannery-Stewart told KOAT the men ‘weren’t really talking. Their eyes were all messed up and droopy and dilated.’

Police had been keeping an eye out on the group, as they suspected they were running a mobile heroin rig, and all three men are in police custody.

The restaurant manager said they retrieved the stolen toilet paper
