Telemundo, owned by NBC, has launched a new telenovela-insprired jewelry collection designed by Israel-native Udi Behr. The first question should be why a Latino isn’t designing the line followed by who wants to buy this stuff anyway.
Behr is the creative mind behind jewelry and accessories featured in other television programs like True Blood and Dexter. Her new line for Telemundo is called “Todo por Un Beso” or “All for A Kiss”. The line will be featured at the NBC store in New York as well as on-line. In addition, NBC hopes to have the jewelry on QVC and U.S. major retailers.
Behr who has stated he’s not a telenovela fan nor does he speak Spanish somehow felt he knew the audience enough to know they love to kiss on telenovelas, hence the name of the line.
We’re aren’t sure whether to be offended or just ignore the product line all together, that ranges in price from $49 to $900.
