FBI: Ted Kennedy Rented Out an Entire Chilean Brothel for A Night of Debauchery

Recently released FBI files dated December 1961, reveals that the late Edward “Ted” Kennedy rented out an entire Chilean brothel, while he was the assistant district attorney for Suffolk County, Massachusetts.

The document acquired by the Judicial Watch organization, indicates that Kennedy, made the trip to Central and South American countries as a “familiarization and orientation tour.”

The document says that while Kennedy was in the Chilean capital, “he made arrangements to ‘rent’ a brothel for an entire night.” Kennedy allegedly “invited one of the embassy chauffeurs to participate in the night’s activities.”

These files aren’t the first to shed light on the devious side of Kennedy, and the high socio-political circles of the 60’s.  Last June, secret FBI files were released that said the late senator allegedly was a part of sex parties involving actress Marilyn Monroe and singer/actor Frank Sinatra at a hotel in New York City.

Communist Ties

According to the December 1961 State Department memo, the “familiarization tour” earned Kennedy a few problems with American diplomats in Latin America.

While in Mexico City, Ted Kennedy “met with a number of individuals known to have Communist sympathies” and asked an ambassador in Mexico City to “invite left-wingers to the embassy, where he could interview them.”

The ambassador promptly denied this request and according to the memo, told Kennedy he would have to make the arrangements himself.

Kennedy’s insistence on meeting with “left-wingers” in Peru, unsettled diplomats, who called him a “pompous and spoiled brat.”
