TAKE ACTION: Ask Congress to Pass the DREAM Act Now

The Illinois Coalition for Immigrant and Refugee Rights has created a petition and facebook page encouraging supporters to ask their government officials to pass the DREAM Act during this weeks lame duck session.

The DREAM Act would allow for a path to citizenship for undocumented immigrant children who came to the U.S. before the age of 16, live in the country for at least five years, graduate from a U.S. high school, and attend at least two years of college or serve in the military for two years.

So click here to sign the petition that will be sent to your government representatives urging them to pass the DREAM Act.
