‘Superman’ Producer, Ilya Salkind Dominguez, Goes Missing in his Native Mexico

Friends of renown Hollywood producer, Ilya Salkind Dominguez, are very worried about Salkind that went missing near his estate in Mexico City.

The 63 year-old, was born in Mexico and is most known for producing the ‘Superman’ films of the 1970’s and ‘80s working along side his father Alexander Salkind, the legendary silent film producer.  Ilya and his father purchased the rights to the ‘Superman’ franchise in 1974 and went on to make Superman I, II and III. His most recent project was producing ‘Young Alexander the Great’.

Yesterday, Salkind’s long-time business partner filed a missing persons report with authorities in Mexico when Salkind did not return from running errands in Mexico City on Monday, January 31st.
