Photo: Migration Exodus out of Mexico Almost 0%
Mexico’s National Employment & Occupation quarterly report shows that the country’s immigration out flow is ‘almost’ nothing. This means that fewer migrants are coming to Mexico and even less are migrating out of Mexico.
The reports shows that Mexico lost .09 % of its people to migration to the U.S. or to other countries from March, 2010 through March, 2001. This net migration number came from the fact that only .38% of Mexicans left the country to migrate while only .29% immigrated/came to Mexico. These statistics show that the height of the migration boom in 2006 is over.
