Spanish tennis star and currently the number one player in the world, Rafael Nadal has been chosen to replace Christiano Ronaldo as the face of Armani underwear, and Armani Jeans.
The 25 year-old ‘King of Clay’ earlier this year won his first US Open, becoming one of seven players to have won every Grand Slam, and one of two to have completed the ‘Career Golden Slam’ (winner of all four grand slams plus the Olympic Golden Medal), the other player being Andre Agassi.
Nadal, who had a Main belt asteroid named after him by the astronomy observatory in Mallorca, has advertised products and equipment before for brands like Nike, Kia Motors and Universal DVDs, but this is the first time the Spaniard will be shedding everything but his Armani underwear, and modeling.
