On Sunday, Sofia Vergara was not at the 85th Academy Awards like so many of her Hollywood pals and the rumors began to swirl.
Some gossip outlets claimed the actress needed to have emergency surgery and was in the hospital, though that was not the case. However, the actress was sick. Vergara tweeted Sunday night that she would have to skip the big award show because she had the flu and didn’t want to get everyone sick.
The Modern Family actress even tweeted a photo of her in bed recovering.
It is too bad she was unable to attend, as Vergara’s dresses are some of the most stunning to see go down the runway.
